Elephant Safari Note: Advance booking is preferred for a confirmed elephant safari seat. The timing for your safari slot will be confirmed one day before your safari date.

In case of any increase in safari charges after booking, the additional/difference amount shall be payable by the customer before the safari. The booking will be subject to the revised tariff applicable for the selected safari date.”

Safari Rules - Important Information

  1. Entry Permit Requirements-
    Visitors must obtain the required entry permits by producing the specified documents. Once issued, an entry permit cannot be cancelled or transferred.
  2. Safari Booking & Forest Department Rules-
    The safari booking process is governed by the rules and regulations of the Forest Department of Kaziranga National Park. All visitors must comply with applicable wildlife protection rules.
  3. Safari Timings-
    Jeep Safari operates in two shifts — one morning and one evening. Elephant Safari operates in two shifts, both during the morning.
  4. Guide & Naturalist Regulations-
    Only registered guides are permitted to accompany visitors. Guests must not attempt to change or replace the assigned guide or naturalist.
  5. Park Safety & Visitor Restrictions-
    Entry into the National Park is strictly prohibited after sunset. During a jeep safari, visitors must remain inside the vehicle and are not permitted to get down. Pets are also strictly not allowed inside Kaziranga Park.

Safari Booking – Important Information

  1. Safari & Zone Availability-
    Safari rides and safari zones are allotted subject to availability at the time of booking.
  2. Non-Refundable Safari Voucher-
    Once the safari voucher has been issued, the amount paid is non-refundable.
  3. Booking Failure & Refund-
    If the safari cannot be booked due to a technical error or non-availability of seats, the full amount will be refunded to the guest’s bank account. The guest will also be informed accordingly.
  4. Elephant Safari Reporting Time-
    For Elephant Safari, guests must report at the designated safari point at the exact time provided by the safari management team, as per applicable government regulations.
  5. Jeep Safari Pick-Up-
    Jeep Safari pick-up is available for tourists staying within approximately 5 km of the respective safari entry gate.
  6. Safari Charges Included-
    The safari charges include the jeep, driver, entry fee and road tax. No additional payment is required for these included services.

Safari Booking – Visitor Information Required

  1. Visitor Details-
    Please provide the full name, age and sex of each visitor exactly as mentioned on their identity card, along with the applicable amount.
  2. Travel Date & Safari Timing-
    Select your preferred travel date and safari timing — Morning or Afternoon.
  3. Valid ID Details-
    Provide the ID card number used for the booking, such as Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, etc.
  4. Advance Safari Payment-
    The applicable safari charges must be paid in advance to confirm the booking.
  5. Carry the Same ID-
    Visitors must carry the same original ID card that was submitted during the online booking while visiting the park.
  6. Foreign Tourist Passport Details-
    Passport details are mandatory for foreign tourist reservations.
  7. First-Come, First-Served Allotment-
    Safari allotment is made on a first-come, first-served basis and remains subject to availability.
