One –Horned Rhinoceros

The renowned one-horned rhino of Kaziranga is often referred to as the Asian one-horned rhino and the Great Indian one-horned rhinoceros. After Indian Elephants, Indian Rhinos are the second-largest herbivorous mammals in terms of size. They favour subtropical woodlands with lots of vegetation as their home. They consume leaves, roots, fruits, berries, buds, blossoms, and flowers. 2 to 2.5 tonnes is the weight range for Indian rhinos. Rhino females weigh 1.6 times as much as an Indian rhino. Both males and females of the Indian rhinoceros have horns, which they utilise for protection, selfdefense, breaking through tree trunks, and digging out roots. Keratin makes up the horn.

Indian Elephant

The elephant belongs to the family Elephantidae and is the second largest mammal on Earth after the blue whale. It resembles an Indian elephant in several ways, yet it is smaller and has a smaller ear, like an African elephant. Indian elephants range in weight from 2 to 5 tonnes and in height from 11 to 20 feet. In many parts of India, elephants are adored despite the fact that they are remarkable animals. They can devour enormous quantities of vegetation each day thanks to each of their 40,000 muscles. They can drink 50 gallons of water each day and have long, thick hair covering their concentrated, elongated ones. An Indian elephant has a long, rounded back.
